Admission & Fees
We offer a Monday/Wednesday/Friday class and a Tuesday/Thursday class for children ages 2-4. We also offer a 5-day class for 4 1/2 to 5-year-olds.
How to Apply
Our classes fill up quickly, so be sure to apply early as soon as registration is open. We do give priority registration to our current families already enrolled. General registration opens shortly thereafter for any remaining spots. In addition, you’re invited to reserve a spot on a class’s wait list. Below are some frequently asked questions.
1. What are your hours?
Our classes begin at 9 am and go until Noon. Dropoff of children begins at 8:45 am.
2. What is the student-teacher ratio?
Class size ranges from 10-16 children, with a teacher and assistant teacher.
3. Are parents allowed to come into the classrooms?
We love having visitors join us for birthday and special events like Mother’s Day Tea, Donuts for Dad, and our Christmas program. However, ongoing parental involvement during classtime is not encouraged.
4. Do children have to be potty trained?
Children need to be potty trained before beginning the 3, 4, and 5-year-old classes.
5. Do you operate on a particular school calendar?
We loosely follow Wake County Public School’s calendar and take off for a Pastor’s Conference in the fall.

Fees
Our tuition rates are very competitive for the area and are subject to change for the following year. Monthly tuition is due on the 15th of each month (August-April).

NOTE: The age listed for each class is the age that the child will be on August 31 of the upcoming school year. 2-year olds must be 2 by August 31 in order to be enrolled. You are able to sign up for both MWF and TTH classes to get five days of schooling for our younger kiddos. If you would like to sign up for multiple classes, email WeekdayPreschool@shepherds.org for a discount code, as we only charge one registration fee per child.

Registrations
Our classes for 2025-2026 are full. Registration for the 2026-2027 year will be open for current and alumni families on January 26, 2026. Open registration for all new families will be open on February 1, 2026.
