About College Ministry
Influenced by Ephesians 4:12, The Shepherd’s College Ministry’s mission is to equip students for a life of ministry in three specific ways.
WIN—Boldly Communicating the Gospel
Jesus came “to seek and to save the lost.” As His disciples, we commit to boldly communicating the gospel to the lost on college campuses in the Raleigh area. (Luke 19:10, Matthew 28:19)
TRAIN—Discipling Students God's Way
We aim for the deep discipleship of every student, God’s way: through the power of God’s Word and in the context of the local church (in our case, The Shepherd’s Church). (2 Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 4:12)
LOVE—Loving God and Others
The goal of all our effort and training is love: that we would love God and others with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. After all, without love, we are nothing, and gain nothing. (Matthew 22:36-40; 1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
Sunday Morning Worship
Sundays, 11:10 am
6200 House
Our main gathering during the week is on Sunday mornings, where we experience dynamic student-led worship, relevant Bible teaching, and a time to solidify friendships. We also provide a free lunch every Sunday! We meet at the 6200 House (located just down Holly Springs Rd by our campus). See map below.
Community Groups
Our mid-week Bible studies are connected to the Sunday Morning message. Every semester, we walk through a book of the Bible, and our community groups (a.k.a. C-Groups) are the best context for studying the Word personally and applying it intentionally, together.

The Cure for Anxiety: Part 2 – Matthew 6:19-25
We carry on our focus on a biblical response to anxiety by listening to Jesus in Matthew 6. He addresses us with a series of arguments for why the children of God should not worry.
The Cure for Anxiety: Part 1
We turn to 1 Peter 5:6-7 to see that humility casts anxiety on God, and so the first step toward God's "perfect peace" is to repent of the pride which obscures our willingness to let God have the spotlight.
Imitators: Body Builders
With Ephesians 4 as our guide, we see that every fully mature disciple/imitator of Jesus will focus on spiritual maturity so that they can invest in the spiritual maturity of others.
