STUDENTS
Shepherd’s Student Ministry is a place where students can belong, grow in their faith, and learn to lead others. Our goal is to creatively equip the next generation to know God, find community, and change the world.
BELONG • GROW • LEAD
Grades 6-8
9:30 am
The middle school years can be a unique and challenging phase of life, and at Shepherd’s we desire to reach students right where they are to encourage, develop and inspire them in their walk with God. Students gather Sunday morning for large-group worship, followed by teaching and small-group breakouts that are grade- and gender-specific.
Grades 9-12
9:30 am
The high school years often pull students in so many directions. It’s no wonder that kids today are leaving the church. We strive to create an environment for students to be students…That means having a blast and making memories that will last a lifetime! Students gather Sunday mornings for large-group worship, followed by teaching.
Grades 6-12
9:30 am
We offer an adaptive class for special-needs students called “Mosaic.” In addition, our Sports Ministry offers several special-needs opportunities throughout the year for students through age 13.
Sunday Nights
5:00 pm
(Seasonal, Sept.–May)
Our Sunday night student programming includes engaging small groups for middle school and high school, and offers a fun time to hangout with friends afterwards! Sunday nights will officially be the best night of the week!
DURING THE WEEK

Student Choir
Our Student Ministry Choir is for students in Grades 6-12. No special talent is required. Currently, this group is not meeting due to COVID-19. We’re hoping to get back in action soon. Stay tuned!

TrailLife

annual events
Trail Life Troop 613 (said – six thirteen). The Troop is “6:13” because we are encouraged, and guided, by Ephesians 6:13 that calls us to “take up the armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.” We believe in equipping boys and young men with a strong set of life skills that are firmly rooted in God’s Word.
Trailmen can begin their adventure at any time, regardless of their current skill level. Troop 613 offers program for Kindergarten through High School. Meetings are Monday evenings starting at 6:30pm. Elementary aged trailmen end meetings at 7:30pm and the Middle School and High School aged trailmen end at 8pm.
If you are interested in enrolling your son or if you have a passion for equipping the next generation and would like to be involved in helping lead the program – please visit the Troop 613 website below.
