Shepherd’s Student Ministry is a place where students can belong, grow in their faith, and learn to lead others. Our goal is to creatively equip the next generation to know God, find community, and change the world.
KNOW GOD • FIND COMMUNITY • CHANGE THE WORLD
Sunday mornings in SSM (August-May) include an opening assembly time of worship at 9:30 followed by students being split into four classes:
During class time, students hear relevant Bible teaching that focuses on foundational biblical truths to having an identity in Christ to developing a biblical worldview and more! (Check-in is between 9-9:30; Assembly is from 9:30-9:50; and Classes are from 9:55-10:30)
We offer an adaptive class for special-needs students called “Mosaic.” In addition, our Sports Ministry offers several special-needs opportunities throughout the year for students through age 13.
Wednesday nights in SSM will include a time for students to have deeper discussion about the Sunday morning lesson in a more relaxed setting. Students will be split by grade and gender and placed in small groups. Middle school will meet on campus and high school will meet in homes throughout our area.
Email Mollie Andersen to find out more.
Every winter/early spring, our high school and middle school students take a break from the busyness of life for a weekend of fun with friends and encouragement from the Word.
Rising 6th Graders
Level Up is an orientation event for rising 6th grade students and their parents to get to know our Student Ministry staff and see just how much fun they’re going to have!
Every summer, our middle and high school students have their own week of camp. Strategically scheduled at the end of the summer, it’s the perfect opportunity for students to be inspired, encouraged, and equipped to start the school year strong for Jesus.
