When I Am Afraid – Trusting God Through Anxious Times (Video and Handout)

Whether it’s a fear of illness, restlessness in relationships, stressful situations, preoccupation with finances, or uncertainty about the future, we are all too familiar with the feeling of anxiety. But our all-knowing God is not surprised. His word can provide comfort for our souls. Supporting Others Through Difficult Times

On May 12, 2020, Shepherd’s College Pastor Paul Lofquist interviewed Care Ministry Pastor Stephen Pritchett.  They discussed practical ways to support a friend or family member who is going through a struggle, and when is it appropriate to seek additional assistance.  If you have ever wondered how you can come alongside someone in need, this informal conversation gives insight into ways you can support a friend or family member through a difficult season. Anger Workshop (Video and Workbook)

On January 12, 2019, Pastor Gary Hallquist presented a workshop at The Shepherd’s Church titled “Cooling the Flames of Anger.” The workshop consisted of five sessions: 1) Understanding Anger, 2) The Role of Anger in Relationships, 3) Getting to the Heart of My Anger, 4) Doing Anger Well, and 5) Tools for Cooling the Flames. Depression Workshop (Video and Workbook)

On September 28, 2019, Pastor Gary Hallquist and Pastor Stephen Pritchett presented a workshop on Depression.
