PRAYER

The Bible tells us that “the prayer of a righteous man (or woman) is powerful and effective (James 5:16). That’s why we value prayer at The Shepherd’s Church and provide opportunities for corporate prayer.

Aaron and Hur Prayer Group

In Exodus 17, when the Israelites faced the Amalekites in battle, as long as Moses held the staff of God up in his hands, the Israelites advanced. When Moses grew weary and lowered his hands, they faltered. There was final victory when Aaron and Hur stood alongside Moses and held up his hands. We believe in the power of prayer, and feel it’s important to pray for Pastor Davey and all of our teachers as they uplift God’s wisdom and truth from the Bible each week. Please join our Aaron & Hur prayer group on Sundays in WC108 from 8:45–10:30 am (come when you can, leave when you must). For additional information, contact Kelley Carroll.
