FAQs

Your campus is big. How do I find my way around?

We have friendly, helpful greeters at the Welcome Desks who are happy to help you. (There is also wayfinding signage to help you located on the walls around campus.)

What is the preaching style?

Stephen is an expositor and his expository preaching derives from the text of Scripture. He most often preaches through books of the Bible and occasionally looks at God’s Word topically. While many ministries expound on life and illustrate with Scripture, Stephen is committed to expounding on Scripture and illustrating with life.

What is your music like?

Our worship music is “blended” in that it includes contemporary songs as well as the great hymns of the Christian faith.

How should I dress?

We want you to feel comfortable here! You’ll notice a range of clothing styles. Many come dressed casually while others prefer a semi-formal style. The speaker will wear a coat and tie.

Where do I park?

We have ample parking on our property. On your first visit with us, follow the signs for “Visitor Parking.” We also offer our “Shepherd’s Shuttle,” which helps transport those needing assistance who have to park further away in our lots.

Do you have a Deaf Ministry?

During our 11 am service, we offer sign interpretation on campus or via livestream. We also offer a Bible study (“Holy Hands”) for the deaf at 9:30 am.

Are there programs for my children?

We have loving and safe activities for children in age-appropriate classes that focus on helping kids know God, think biblically and live wisely. If you’re bringing young children, here are some tips:

  • Arrive 15 minutes early on your first visit and stop at the Family Center Welcome Desk for assistance & directions.
  • Our nurseries are stocked with everything a baby needs except milk/formula, bottles, and pacifiers. Please label anything you bring to the nursery. If your baby takes formula, please have the water premeasured in the bottle and formula premeasured in a separate container.
  • Please alert the volunteer staff to any allergies or special needs your child may have.

What about older students?

We have lively worship and Bible study for middle school and high school during the 9:30 am service. Our college students meet on Sunday evenings at 7 pm.

SUNDAY PROGRAMMING

SUNDAY PROGRAMMING

In the Book of Acts, chapter 20, it tells us how the early church began gathering for a special time of worship on the day of the week that Jesus arose after his crucifixion—that day was Sunday! In Revelation 1, the Apostle John refers to Sunday as the day that had become—in the minds and hearts of the church—the Lord’s Day. We have the pleasure of worshipping the Lord on any and every day. But within a few decades of Jesus’ resurrection, the early Christians began to gather as an assembly on this day.  They even began referring to it as a day that uniquely belonged to the Lord . . . The Lord’s Day.

Following the example of those early Christians, we’ve chosen also to maximize the Lord’s Day.  This is the day, more than any other day during the week where we gather to worship, connect, grow and serve.  Check out our various Sunday ministries and activities below by clicking on the service time, and join us as we gather together on The Lord’s Day!

Unable to attend in person?  We offer livestreaming of our worship service.
