COLLEGE
Shepherd’s College Ministry exists to equip students for a life of ministry. (Ephesians 4:12)
WIN • TRAIN • LOVE

OUR MISSION & VISION
Influenced by Ephesians 4:12, The Shepherd’s College Ministry’s mission is to equip students for a life of ministry in three specific ways.

- WIN—Jesus came “to seek and to save the lost.” As His disciples, we commit to boldly communicating the gospel to the lost on college campuses in the Raleigh area. (Luke 19:10, Matthew 28:19)
- TRAIN—We aim for the deep discipleship of every student, God’s way: through the power of God’s Word and in the context of the local church (in our case, The Shepherd’s Church). (2 Timothy 3:16; Ephesians 4:12)
- LOVE—The goal of all our effort and training is love: that we would love God and others with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. After all, without love, we are nothing, and gain nothing. (Matthew 22:36-40; 1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
- GROW—The Word of God is the unfailing key to spiritual growth (2 Timothy 3:16). We zealously seek to understand and apply God’s Word to our lies.
- GIVE—Serving the local church is central to what God is doing with us (1 Peter 4:10). We must be in living relationship with a local body, both to give and receive.
- GO—The Great Commission (Matt. 28:19) is every disciple’s marching orders. Sharing Jesus is not a hobby, it’s a lifestyle.

Our mid-week Bible studies are connected to the Sunday Morning message. Every semester, we walk through a book of the Bible, and our community groups (a.k.a. C-Groups) are the best context for studying the Word personally and applying it intentionally, together.
