The Tentmakers Program aims to develop and encourage mature, ministry-minded STEM professionals who will use their gifts to reach the least-reached with the gospel. In this capstone trip, participants (college students enrolled in STEM majors) will visit marketplace ministers in SEA to see first-hand the challenges and opportunities associated with using one’s profession overseas for the sake of the gospel.
The Liberia Impact Team will work alongside our Global Staff member, Gary Kittredge, as well as leadership from local churches, building community relationships while hosting sports clinics for children ages 12-14 in the local community.
The El Salvador team will be assisting Hannah’s Hands Ministry, which ministers to the poor in and around San Salvador with Bible clubs for children, Bible studies, and medical clinics. The agenda for this trip will be finalized based on the talents and gifts of the team members God calls. We will be doing a VBS program in a local community.

This exciting fall trip to the Balkans is slated for November 27-December 6, 2026, and open to anyone at Shepherd’s who is ages 18+, This team will encourage the Global Workers in this area and disciple the participants by providing opportunities to grow in faith.
Provide encouragement and support to our Global Staff by assisting the international school with field day activities as well as providing various support with school-related needs.
